Gas volume is about how much space the gas molecules occupy. Gas dont have a fixed shape and dont have a fixed volume. Gas molecules are far away from one another and its kinetic energy is directly affected by temperature, making the gas expand at high temperature and compressed in lower temperature. Gas molecule have a property of compressibility because the particles are far away from one another making it more compressible compared to liquid and solid. Gas volume is inversely proportional to pressure and directly proportional to temperature and the amount of gas.
